Founded in 2003 by Mr. Lefteris Soubasis, Digiprint has established itself as a leader in large format digital printing, advertising constructions, and 3D printing. The company sought a reliable UV LED printing machine that could seamlessly integrate into a workflow involving smaller printers up to 160 cm. This addition would support small, daily, and non-repetitive tasks with short runs—covering only a few square meters—complementing the existing 3.2 m and 5 m machines.

A major challenge for Digiprint was ensuring consistent quality across multiple existing latex machines, achieving accurate colour reproduction, and reducing production costs due to significant material waste.

Furthermore, managing several machines resulted in a considerable space commitment in the production facilities. The company needed a compact machine featuring low maintenance costs and higher printing speeds to optimise its operations.

The Canon Colorado M-series was installed by the authorised partner, Chameleon Graphics, in early September 2023 and within 2 months the positive impact on the company's production facility was evident. Thus, in 2024, Digiprint proceeded with the integration of the 2nd Colorado machine in its production unit.

With the two Canon Colorado M-series installed, Digiprint now offers a premium range of applications. The benefits include:

These advantages are further augmented by the PRISMAguide XL software, which simplifies the preparation of complex, multi-layer printing jobs (ranging from 3 to 5 layers to overflow). Additionally, printing on a single, seamlessly integrated machine eliminates alignment issues during the final placement at the customer's site, significantly reducing stress for professionals and ensuring a flawless result.

Digiprint's immediate plans are to expand its printing fleet to boost production, investing in its own machines with their eyes closed.
