Canon Boosts Productivity and Print Quality of imagePROGRAF TM and TX Series with New Generation of Models

Dublin, Ireland, 15^th September 2026 – Canon today announces the launch of a new generation of its imagePROGRAF TM and TX Series with 12 new models for technical and professional large format printing applications.

Building on Canon's expertise in large format printing, the new printers introduce new high-density matte black (MBK) ink and enhanced image processing technology to deliver greater line precision and improved detail reproduction. The line-up includes multifunction models with scanning capabilities across both ranges and incorporates increased use of recycled materials, including up to 25% recycled plastic and 5% recycled iron and EPS-free packaging. Designed for applications ranging from CAD drawings, GIS maps and technical documentation to posters and point-of-sale materials, the new devices combine enhanced print quality and productivity with improved sustainability credentials.

imagePROGRAF TM Series

The new imagePROGRAF TM Series includes the TM-610M and TM-510M integrated multifunction printers (MFPs), alongside six single-function models: the TM-600, TM-500, TM-610, TM-510, TM-615 and TM-515.

Canon's imagePROGRAF TM range has been developed for small and medium-sized architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) businesses, as well as in-house print environments across retail, hospitality and education, delivering professional-quality technical and colour output in a compact, easy-to-use design, offering print speeds of up to 3.2ppm for A1 output on 36” models.

For the first time in the TM range, Canon is introducing multifunction models with a built-in scanner, eliminating the need for a separate scanning unit. The imagePROGRAF TM-510M and TM-610M combine printer and scanner functionality within a single, compact device, simplifying installation and operation through one power source, one IP address and a unified user interface accessed via a new 5-inch tiltable touchscreen.

The TM-510M and TM-610M simplify large format scan-to-print workflows by combining printing and scanning functionality in a single device. Scanning speeds are up to five times faster than previous configurations, while dual-sided LED illumination helps improve the digitisation of folded and aged documents, thanks to light sources positioned on both sides of the sensor that reduce shadows and uneven brightness caused by creases and wrinkles.

Across the wider TM range, the new high-density MBK ink, enhanced image processing and improved colour mapping on plain paper deliver highly accurate technical output together with darker blacks and more vibrant colours. This supports a broad range of applications, from technical drawings and plans to posters and point-of-sale materials.

Within the TM series, Mopria certification also enables driverless printing across Windows and Android, while support for IPP class drivers and Windows Protected Print Mode provides greater flexibility across different IT environments.

imagePROGRAF TX Series

The new imagePROGRAF TX Series comprises the 44-inch TX-4300 and 36-inch TX-3300 single-function printers, with the 44-inch TX-4310 and 36-inch TX-3310 multifunction models also available, combining the printer with a separate Global Scanning (GS) scanner solution for organisations requiring scanning capabilities.

Designed for security-conscious, larger architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) and manufacturing organisations, corporate and government departments, and print service providers, the new TX range delivers print speeds of up to 3.3ppm for A1 output.

Dual-roll media handling, hot-swappable ink tanks and automated calibration features help minimise downtime and maintain consistent output. A newly developed pull-out basket is designed to neatly stack large sets of drawings face-down while maintaining print order. Supporting continuous A0 and A1 output, reducing operator intervention, this new basket helps maintain productivity during high-volume production runs.

The new high-density MBK ink and enhanced image processing technology provide precise line definition and improved technical detail, supporting applications ranging from CAD drawings and GIS maps to engineering documentation. Auto media loading, simplified media settings and an intuitive 4.3-inch touchscreen further streamline day-to-day operation.

The TX Series also incorporates advanced security features, including PIN code printing, encrypted communications and secure hard drive erasure, helping organisations protect sensitive technical documentation and business data. When configured with the Global Scanning (GS) Z36 scanner, TX Series multifunction models enable simultaneous scanning and printing, so that a user can scan the next drawing while the previous one is still printing or print documents from a PC while a scan is in progress.

The new imagePROGRAF TM and TX printers incorporate increased recycled material content and EPS-free packaging. Selected models are also listed on the EPEAT® Registry in the United States, which recognises electronics that meet established environmental performance criteria.

The new Canon imagePROGRAF TM Series will be available from October 2026, with the TX Series following from November 2026, through Canon resellers in EMEA.
