Canon achieves supplier status in new Scottish Procurement Managed Print Solutions purchasing framework

United Kingdom, 11ᵗʰ August 2022. Canon’s inclusion on this purchasing framework (SP 21-46) will allow for the delivery of its Multifunctional Devices, Printers, Document Scanners, Digital Workflow and Software Services to public sector organisations across Scotland. It will also support the provision of Canon’s Managed Print Services, Wide Format Print, Production Print and Hybrid Mail services - providing a complete end to end solution for customers.

Through the framework, Canon will be able to deliver innovative and bespoke technology to the Scottish Public Sector.  Its solutions will help organisations to implement digital transformation strategies, whilst supporting wider objectives such as reducing costs, boosting productivity, and improving efficiencies.

Canon has a proud heritage of working with organisations in Scotland to deliver print and document workflow solutions - and since 2009, it has maintained a leading position on the Scottish Procurement Office Equipment framework.  This has now been updated and replaced by the new Managed Print Solutions purchasing framework, which Canon is very proud to be supporting.

With an aim to drive value and digital transformation across the Scottish public sector, the new framework will offer organisations a central point for contract management as well as a wide range of office equipment products and associated services, at lower prices.  The framework will also allow businesses to benefit from a range of more sustainable and environmentally friendly solutions.

Damian Ashurst, Head of Public Sector Sales at Canon UK comments: “We’re delighted to be part of this important framework which allows us to offer our unrivalled portfolio to Scottish Public Sector organisations. We’re already a significant supplier to this sector in Scotland and hope that the framework will help us to further equip organisations with the very best Canon products, services and technology”.
