Canon announces virtual speaker line-up for The Photography Show and The Video Show Spring Shoots Virtual Festival

London, England, 1ˢᵗ March 2021 - Taking to the stage at The Photography Show and The Video Show Spring Shoots Virtual Festival (on 6th and 7th March), Canon’s speaker line-up will deliver inspirational talks for aspiring and established photographers alike. In addition, the Canon Live chat team will be on hand to answer any technical product questions throughout the show.

Host of inspirational speakers take to this year’s virtual stage


This year’s speaker line-up includes: 


Marc Aspland


Marc Aspland is a multi-award-winning photographer who has served as Chief Sports Photographer at The Times for thirty years. He has covered the summer Olympic Games since Barcelona 1992 and multiple FIFA World Cup Finals, the Rugby World Cup from 1991 to 2011 and a host of Open Golf Championships.


Clive Booth


After twenty years as a graphic designer, Clive decided to follow his lifelong ambition of becoming a photographer and filmmaker. He’s now in constant demand for his atmospheric fashion, beauty and portrait imagery.


Wanda Martin


Wanda Martin is a London-based photographer and filmmaker working in the fashion and music industry. Having graduated with a MA Honours in Photography from London College of Fashion, her clients include magazines such as VOGUE, Numero, Dazed, i-D, Wonderland, Glamour, Marie Claire and Instyle China. She also works with brands including Marc Jacobs, Dior, Burberry, Diesel, Charles Jeffrey LOVERBOY and Pretty Green.


Lucia Griggi


A National Geographic Traveller 2012 award winner, Lucia is an expedition, wildlife and travel photographer who can be found exploring our last frontiers. She specialises in polar regions, including underwater and aerial photography.


Oliver Wright


Oliver Wright has been a full-time professional photographer for the last seven years after a corporate career in project management. He spends his winter months 200km north of the Arctic Circle guiding people to photograph arctic landscapes and the Aurora Borealis. His springs and summers focus on macro and wildlife photography in the UK and other parts of the world.


David Parry


David joined Canon UK in 2008 and is now the leading product specialist for photo and video in the UK and Ireland. He is Canon UK’s spokesperson on technology and has spent much of his career in the photography industry working in professional photo processing labs and selling cameras to consumers.


Joas Souza


Joas Souza is a London-based architectural photographer who specialises in making exceptional spaces look even better on paper. A tireless perfectionist, he uses his work to honour the extraordinary while focusing on getting the most out of the photograph through print.


Evgenia Arbugaeva


A National Geographic Society Storytelling Fellow whose work has been exhibited internationally, much of Evgenia's atmospheric photography focuses on the landscapes and people of her home region of the Russian Arctic.
