1. PROMOTIONAL PRODUCTS, PARTICIPATING RETAILERS, PROMOTIONAL PERIOD AND PARTICIPANTS
1.1. This promotion of a free Logitech H390 Headset (“Headset”) is only available against purchases made of the product listed below (the “Promotional Product”); (i) within the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (“UK”) or Republic of Ireland (“ROI”); (ii) from one of our listed participating retailers in the UK or ROI as applicable (see list below - “Participating Retailers”); (iii) between 00.00 Monday 13th March 2023 and 23.59 Sunday 14th May 2023 inclusive (the “Promotional Period”). All other products and retailers are excluded. Promotional Product sold as part of a kit or bundle with a camera body is excluded from this promotion. Purchases must be genuine purchases for cash or its equivalent.
1.2. All Participants must be:
1.2.1. aged 18 or over;
1.2.2. must be resident in the UK or ROI (“Participant”).
1.3. By submitting a claim for a Headset (“Headset Claim”) against the purchase of a Promotional Product, Participants are deemed to have agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1.4. All Promotional Products purchased must be new and genuine Canon Products. Purchases of second hand, refurbished or reconditioned products, or products which are counterfeit or infringe the intellectual property rights of the Canon group of companies in any way (for example, including but not limited to parallel or “grey” products) will not qualify under this promotion. 2. HOW TO PARTICIPATE
2.1. To enter the headset promotion, the Participant must purchase a Promotional Product from a Participating Retailer during the Promotional Period and AND submit a valid Headset Claim online between 00.00 on Monday 13th March 2023 and 23.59 on Wednesday 14th June 2023.
2.2. Headset Claims must be submitted by fully and correctly completing (including specifying a valid European product serial number) a claim form online, at https://canon-gx4050-gift-promotion.sales-promotions.com/en_gb/?country_promotion=2 for a Promotional Product purchased within the UK or https://canon-gx4050-gift-promotion.sales-promotions.com/en/?country_promotion=1 for a Promotional Product purchased within the ROI.
2.3. Participants must scan, upload and attach to the online Headset Claim form a copy of their receipt, or order confirmation for internet purchases;
2.4. Participants will receive an email confirmation of their Headset Claim submission. If Participant does not receive a confirmation email within 24 hours of submitting a Headset Claim, Participant should contact the Claims Hotline on 0800 044 3251.
2.5. The Promotional Products and Headsets are subject to availability while stocks last. Canon will not be liable for any failure of retailers or its administrative partner Benamic to fulfill orders of Promotional Products and/or Headsets during the Promotional Period.
2.6. Canon will not process any Headset Claims:
(i) received after 23.59 on Wednesday 14th June 2023; or
(ii) which are in its sole opinion incomplete or illegible.
2.7. Canon will not be responsible for Headset Claims delayed or not successfully received.
3. HEADSET CLAIMS
3.1. Participants will receive One (1) Headset per purchase of a Promotional Product.
3.2. Upon receipt, verification and validation of a Headset Claim for a Promotional Product during the Promotional Period (each a “Claim”), Canon will arrange for a Headset to be sent out to the address registered on the form. No alternative arrangement will be entered into and no cash or cheque will be provided.
3.3. Canon will endeavor to fulfill each Headset Claim within 4-6 weeks of receipt of a Headset Claim.
3.4. A maximum of twenty (25) Headsets can be claimed as part of a Headset Claim submitted during the Promotional Period.
4. THE PROMOTER
4.1. The promoter is Canon (UK) Ltd, company number 01264300 with its registered office address at 4 Roundwood Avenue, Stockley Park, Uxbridge UB11 1AF (“Promoter”).
5.1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Canon shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury of any nature howsoever caused, sustained by any Participant under this promotion. However, nothing in these rules shall have the effect of excluding or restricting Canon’s liability for personal injury or death caused by the proven negligence of Canon’s employees or agents.
5.2. In exceptional circumstances, Canon may void, amend, and/or change this promotion at any time without incurring any liability whatsoever provided that such changes are necessary and can be justified by objective reasons.
5.3. Canon reserves the right to audit any claims to ensure compliance with these terms and conditions and to request additional information and supporting documents. Canon reserves the right to exclude claims and/or Participants if it suspects that the promotion is being abused in any way. Canon’s decisions in relation to the promotion are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
5.4. If any part of these conditions is found by a court of competent jurisdiction or other competent authority to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, then such part shall be severed from the remainder of these conditions, which shall continue to be valid to the fullest extent permitted by law.
6.2. If Participants do not wish for their contact information to be used for marketing purposes or to enable Canon to contact them in future regarding similar promotions, they should NOT check the relevant “opt-in” box when completing the claim form.
7. LAW AND JURISDICTION
As You are a participating consumer, laws of your country of residence will apply to this Promotion, and You may be entitled to bring court proceedings in your own language and in your local courts. A local consumer advice organization will be able to advise you on your rights. These Terms do not restrict any statutory rights that may be applicable.
