1.1. This free prize draw (“Canon Club Prize Draw ”) is run by Canon Europa N.V., 59 Bovenkerkerweg, 1185 XB, The Netherlands (“Canon”).

1.2. All entrants (“Participants”) must be the residents of participating countries and must be aged 18 or over. Participating countries include: United Kingdom, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, the Netherlands, Spain, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Norway, Denmark, Czech Republic, Slovakia, South Africa and Middle East.

1.3. Employees of Canon, its subsidiary companies, their families, agents and other parties directly involved with this promotion and the sponsorship are not eligible to enter.

1.4. By entering this free prize draw, all Participants are deemed to have agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions of the prize draw unless notified otherwise in writing.

2.1. The Canon Club Prize Draw is open to all valid Canon Club members, including existing members and those who have or will sign up within the Registration Period (00:00 15th March 2024 to 23:59 14th April, 2024). Please note, existing members must give their consent to participate in this prize draw and new members who sign up to Canon Club, complying with its terms, must also agree to take part in the Canon Club Prize Draw (March 2024) if they wish to participate.

The Prize draw itself will take place between 15th April to 17th April 2024 where the winners will be selected.

2.2. To be entered into the Canon Club Prize Draw to win the prize of a volcano photography tour to Sicily, Italy with Canon Ambassador.
(“the Prizes” when referred to collectively or “the Prize” individually), Participant must comply with the Canon Club prize draw terms and conditions.

The tour includes (approximate value of up to €15K in total):

- A Volcano photography tour from 13 – 21 May, 2024
- Air ticket to Sicily, Italy
- Accommodation
- Half board
- Daily shooting at Volcanoes of Sicily in Italy, Mount Etna & Mount Stromboli.
- Local transport
- Guides for the tour (English speaking tour)
- Entries
- Photo workshop
- Itinerary

2.3. Only one entry per person is permitted.

2.4. Entries received after expiry of the Registration Period will not be eligible to be entered into this Canon Club Prize Draw. Canon reserves the right to disqualify incomplete or illegible entries.

2.5. The Winner must bring and take care of their own camera/photography equipment to be used on the tour.

2.6. For the avoidance of doubt, Canon will not be responsible for organising any visas for any elements of the Prize, this is the sole responsibility of the Winner.

2.7. Canon shall not be responsible for anything not expressly stated herein as included with the Prize, including, but not limited to meals and any activities undertaken by the Winner in their free time.

2.8. Please note, there will be some walking between each of the shooting locations and please ensure you’ve read the itinerary prior to entry.

2.9. If a Participant wishes to 1) withdraw from this prize draw or 2) withdraw their consent for Canon to use their personal data for the purposes of administering this prize draw they can do so by sending their request in the webform. However, they will forfeit their entry to the prize draw.

3.1. Four winners (each a “Winner”) will be randomly drawn from all valid entries received during the Registration Period.

3.2. Each Winner will receive a Prize.

3.3. Snapshot and videos would be taken during the tour. Winners are recommended to upload the photos/video in their social media (if applicable) by tagging Canon. Canon will upload those photos/videos in the Canon Club community and other promotion channels.

3.4. The Prizes are non-transferable, and no cash or credit alternatives will be substituted for the prize on offer. In the event that the Prize offered is unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control, Canon reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.

4.1. Using a random number generator, each Winner will be selected from all eligible entries and the Winners’ name confirmed by Canon.

4.2. Canon will contact the Winners as soon as practicable after 17th April 2024 via the email address submitted during the sign up to Canon Club in order to obtain delivery details and the date of prize delivery for the relevant Prize.

4.3. If any Prize is rejected or unclaimed by a Winner within 3 days of Canon’s attempt to make contact by email, the original announced Winner will forfeit their Prize.

4.4. The Prize may be awarded to other entrants at the absolute and sole discretion of Canon.

4.5. The Prize is as stated when published.

4.6. The Prize is provided to the Winner in good faith by Canon. If a winner is unable to accept the Prize for any reason, then Canon must be notified as soon as possible.

5.1. Any personal data submitted to Canon will be processed by Canon and its agents or associated group companies for the purpose of administering this Canon Club Prize Draw.

5.2. Participants may be contacted by Canon for the purposes of administrating the Canon Club Prize Draw or in the event that Canon wishes to discuss any other use of the information submitted to the Canon Club Prize Draw.

5.3. Participants who have provided consent for their personal data to be used by Canon for the purposes of facilitating this prize draw, may withdraw such consent using the method listed in clause 2.9. Please note, this will forfeit your entry into this prize draw.

5.4. Canon Europa N.V., 59 Bovenkerkerweg, 1185 XB, The Netherlands (“Canon”) is the Data Controller in respect of any personal data supplied by Participants.

5.5. The personal data provided is held securely and may be transferred on a secure server outside the UK and the EEA. For further details on how Participants’ information is protected please see the Canon Consumer Privacy Policy

6.1. In exceptional circumstances, Canon may void the Prize and/or change other promotional conditions provided that such changes are necessary and can be justified by objective reasons.

6.2. Canon reserves the right to refuse to honour any entry or to recover the full value of any Prize if it considers there has been an abuse or breach of the terms and conditions of this Canon Club Prize Draw.

6.3. Canon shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury of any nature howsoever caused, sustained by any Participant under this promotion. However, nothing in these Terms shall have the effect of excluding or restricting Canon’s liability for personal injury or death caused by the proven negligence of its employees or contractors.

6.4. In the event of a dispute over interpretation or implementation of the rules on any matter related to the Canon Club Prize Draw, the decision of the Directors of Canon is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

6.5. If any part of these conditions is found by a court of competent jurisdiction or other competent authority to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, then such part shall be severed from the remainder of these conditions, which shall continue to be valid to the fullest extent permitted by law.

As you are a participating consumer, laws of your country of residence will apply to this competition, and You may be entitled to bring court proceedings in your own language and in your local courts. A local consumer advice organization will be able to advise you on your rights. These Terms do not restrict any statutory rights that may be applicable.
