Henry Ling becomes the first UK company to install the Canon ProStream 1000

United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, 29ᵗʰ September 2020 – Henry Ling, a book and journal print company based in Dorset, has become the first UK business to install the Canon ProStream 1000. The installation is the company’s third Canon device and will help it to further expand into the digital book-printing market.

Company committed to delivering highest quality book and journal output with latest inkjet acquisition

Canon’s reputation for reliability was also a factor, and Henry Ling was already impressed with its current Canon devices operating with excellent productivity and high levels of uptime. The ProStream 1000’s colour consistency in combination with detail sharpness and registration accuracy means Henry Ling can guarantee its customers quick service and high quality book printing across a broad range of media.

Stuart Rising, Head of Commercial Print, Production Printing Products, Canon UK Ltd., said: “We have a longstanding relationship with Henry Ling and we are delighted they are our first UK customer to install our latest high-speed webfed inkjet technology. We believe the ProStream 1000 is a great fit to enable the company to meet the future market requirements of the book trade. We always strive to ensure our customers find the best products and seek to become an integral part of their ongoing print journeys.”

Helen Kennett, Managing Director, Henry Ling, said: “We are extremely proud to announce our new investment. The ProStream 1000 will allow us to continue providing our existing publishers with superior quality products, while extending our excellent service to the trade book market. We have confirmed our commitment to this new market by hiring a new sales professional who brings a wealth of experience to best serve these publishers.

“We’ve worked with Canon for a long time and have always been impressed not only with the high product and service quality, but also with its knowledge of the book industry itself. We’re excited that this new inkjet press means we can continue to grow this strong relationship.”
