With its sleek lines and impossibly thin body, the LiDE 35
redefines desk top scanning. It is so sleek and light that with the
supplied stand, it can be stored and operated on its side - saving
you valuable desk space. And because it draws all the power it
needs from the USB 2.0 Hi-Speed interface, you can do away with
messy power cables.
Canon's LiDE technology provides scans of up to 1200 x 2400 dpi
and 48-bit colour.
The LiDE 35 comes with four EZ scan buttons that you configure to
perform the functions you use most, such as scan, copy, file or
e-mail. You can even set up a button to perform a scan straight to
PDF function.
The one-pass Multi-Photo feature allows you to create up to ten
separate image files from a single pass of multiple photos,
allowing you to open and work on each one individually. It includes
a de-skew function to automatically straighten scanned images, so
you don't have to waste valuable time carefully aligning photos
prior to scanning.
As well as its advanced driver, the LiDE 35 includes Canon Toolbox;
an intuitive, easy-to-use tool-bar that sits on the desktop and
takes the complication out of scanning. A suite of powerful
applications completes your scanning system, including Arcsoft
PhotoStudio for image editing and ScanSoft Omnipage SE for Optical
Character Recognition.
A USB 2.0 Hi-Speed interface allows scan speeds of up to four times
that of conventional scanners. It also provides single cable
connection for both power and data transfer, eliminating the need
for a power plug, cable or transformer. The LiDE 35 also has Mac
compatibility.
