Canon launches free photo printing app to make it even easier to turn your photos into printed memories

United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, 10 November 2017 – Canon has launched its free Photo Print Shop app, letting snap happy users to turn photos into unique prints. From cushions and mugs to canvas prints and smartphone cases, the Canon Photo Print app help bring stories to life in new, exciting formats.

Using photos from smartphones the Photo Print Shop app allows you to do even more with your images in fun and personalised formats. Whether it’s turning wedding or honeymoon memories into a framed canvas, graduation day into a handy phone case or a stand-out gap year moment into a decorative cushion, it can all be done with the click of a button1.

Currently available for iOS2, this quick and easy to use app is intuitive, with useful sizing and cropping features. You simply select the image you want to use and decide what type of product or gift you would like to create. Canon then does the rest, delivering a high quality product with vivid, true-to-life imagery, direct to your door in a matter of days.

Pierre Meurice, Head of Consumer Print Strategy at Canon, said, “Great memories and key life moments cannot be re-wound, at Canon we are passionate about making our customers’ stories and emotions live on. Our new Photo Print Shop app allows users to do even more with their images, inspiring creativity with different, inventive storytelling formats, without compromising on quality.

This new launch follows Canon’s acquisition of print technology company, Kite earlier this year and is testament to the brand’s commitment to making each unique customer story last a lifetime. Whether it’s through lab-quality printed images from the new range of Canon PIXMA printers, online cloud storage to keep precious images and videos safe and compression-free with Irista or the private family photo sharing platform, Lifecake, Canon is investing in technology to help everyone’s stories come alive.
