Effortlessly productive and delivering exceptional results in all CAD/GIS environments, the iPF655 is a 24”/A1 large format printer that never fails to impress.
Take a look at a more detailed look into the Canon imagePROGRAF iPF655
The iPF655 is designed to fit into any CAD/GIS environment. A compact, slim design and all front operation means you can install the printer anywhere – even flush against a wall to save valuable office space.
A large LCD control panel featuring graphic animations ensures it’s quick and easy to get to grips with. Prints are automatically stacked in the high capacity basket to prevent damage and there’s even a handy print timer to track how long a job will take to complete.
For environments with multiple users there is a 80Gb hard disk to store print jobs and to make processing large vector files even easier.
Expect exceptional productivity with draft A1 prints in just 24 seconds. Canon’s L-COA image processing technology and Gigabit Ethernet ensure stunning high-speed reproductions on everything from architectural plans to geographic information.
Productivity is maintained in networked environments thanks to the Media Mismatch function. This works through the hard disk drive. When a job is sent to print with a different media to that which is loaded, the user is informed via the operation panel and given the option to cancel it, print it anyway or change the media. In the meantime, the iPF655 continues with other jobs in the queue.
“Hot-swap” ink tanks allow ink cartridges to be replaced during printing for maximum productivity.
A built in accounting function allows accurate tracking of the cost per print and the overall cost of your printer and enables you to view the data through the printer driver, or export it to a CSV file for use in your own files or systems. An Economy mode can be selected which uses less ink and Canon’s eMaintenancesoftware automatically detects and manages mechanical problems and low ink levels, linking directly to a Canon service centre for maximum uptime.
Canon’s 5-colour dye-and-pigment reactive ink system produces vivid colours and the sharpest, thinnest lines and the new magenta ink makes the red gamut even better. With a range accuracy of +/- 0.1% as well as a minimum line width of 0.02mm, precision is guaranteed. Images are rendered at 2,400 x 1200 dpi for maximum impact, thanks to super-fine print heads using 15,360 nozzles.
The iPF655 is HP-GL/2 and HP-RTL compatible, including palette and pen settings. As well as an HDI driver for AutoCAD and for Microsoft Office users, there is a plug-in to print in Word, Excel and PowerPoint directly from the application.
