Collaboration between Eyes On Media and Canon signals new dawn for World Press Photo

The Amsterdam-based company provides an extensive range of services to professional photographers, helping them to capture, edit and print high quality images for the high-end areas of the market – particularly in the exhibition, museum, architecture, fine art and retail sectors. Working closely with World Press Photo and Canon to establish the best solution possible, Eyes On Media used the Océ Arizona 480 GT flatbed printer and Océ Procut digital cutting table from Canon to print directly onto 1mm forex boards and dibond sheets to produce a highly accurate and professional finish.

The end result not only provided World Press Photo with a durable solution that greatly reduced potential damage during transportation, but also brought the photographs to life in a new way, creating a visually arresting effect that the organisation believes played an important role in the achievement of a successful exhibition.

"The image quality and application possibilities of the Arizona machines has greatly enhanced our photo-printing service and helped us to win new business. We were delighted to be contacted by World Press Photo, whom we had admired for many years. We knew, with the support of Canon and the Arizona, that we could handle the demanding brief."
