FAQ: Why is the toner in wrapped in a protection bag?

Helpful Information:

Solution:

The cartridge contains a photosensitive part called "DRUM" which has characteristics similar to photo film. It also contains black carbon powder called "toner".

The drum is extremely sensitive to light and might deteriorate if exposed to light. Also, poor print quality can result if toner becomes caked or unevenly distributed inside the cartridge.
