The Bubble Jet i9100 is Canon’s top-of-the-range wide-format photo printer. It offers 6-colour output at resolutions of up to 4800 x 1200 dpi printing up to A3+ size
With advanced MicroFine Droplet Technology™ and 4 pl permanent drop size in all modes, the result is maximum definition, high contrast and extraordinary colour range. By overlaying 1/6density inks to create a mid-density dot, colour differences between light and regular dots are reduced with up to 49 colour shades per pixel. This eliminates grainy textures in the mid-tones to give you the smoothest possible prints. All this technology combines to create photo prints that rival silver halide quality when printed on Canon Photo Paper Pro.
The Bubble Jet i9100 is the fastest A3 photo printer available, turning out a full A4 photo at 1200 x 1200 dpi in about one minute and an A3 photo in under two minutes. Its fast speed is the result of one-pass, bi-directional printing and an independent 5-motor drive system, with dedicated motors for line-feed, carriage movement, auto sheet feeding, maintenance and paper discharge. The i9100 will also print borderless photos on 4”x6”, 5”x7”, A4, A3, and A3+ media.
The Bubble Jet i9100 is ideal for producing proofs and artwork complete with crop marks, A3 photos from high-resolution digital cameras, though it is just as good at producing high-quality photographs in the more traditional 4”x6” or 5”x7” sizes.
The Bubble Jet i9100 has a USB interface and is compatible with Win 98/Me/2000/XP and Mac OS 8.6 - 9.x / Mac OS X. It also supports the optional PowerRIP 2000™ PostScript RIP solution from iProof, which effectively turns it into a PostScript printer allowing the production of accurate contract quality proofs. The printer can also be shared in a network with the simple addition of an optional adapter. |
