Colour Management and Image Modes
Canon’s colour management technology has been applied to XEED projectors in order to give superior fidelity to the source images. In addition to support for the industry standard sRGB colour space, selected models support the Adobe RGB space for professionals in studios, design offices and printing. Dynamic Gamma automatically retains contrast in moving images, while colours can be fine-tuned with 6 Axis Colour Adjustment. The standard image modes are: Standard
Clearly matches the image characteristics with those of the original. Prioritises the reproduction of white areas for easy viewing of most material. Presentation
Particularly suitable for presentation materials, increased contrast and apparent brightness enhances visibility in well lit areas and makes viewing text and numerical data easier. Movie and Photo
Suitable for displaying theatrical content and digital camera images, emphasises gradations in dark areas. sRGB
For faithful reproduction of sRGB colour values. Content that has been captured with sRGB compatible devices, such as digital cameras will be reproduced with accurate colours.
AdobeRGB -
Selected models feature this mode which uses the Adobe RGB colour space for colours that are faithful to the original image.
