What has your career path been in Canon?
I started in Canon Spain as a Junior Product Manager, giving support to the Product Manager, looking after hardware and thrid party software products. After a few years I got more involved in our solution business as a Product Manager managing hardware and 3rd party software, as well as Canon Europe’s portfolio. I then moved to the European headquarters to look after uniFLOW, and in 2010 I was appointed as the European Marketing Manager, responsible for the team that looks after the solutions business.
What development opportunities has Canon given you?
I have been given variety of different opportunities. Canon is a very dynamic organisation; and there are a lot of possibilities when things are developing and changing. If you give your maximum in your job, then you just need to react and seize the moment. What I have found great is that I have been able to grow with the Solutions Business in Canon, and this makes me feel very passionate about it.
Why have you enjoyed working for Canon?
I have worked in different type of roles, although always in marketing, both with operational and strategic responsibilities. It’s been a great opportunity to be able to work in a country sales organisation as well as at the European headquarters. This has given me a broader perspective and understanding of the business.
