We also supply specialised IT Consulting and networks in their own right. The main business focus for Canon Ireland is in two clearly defined market segments. Business Solutions covers both the office and professional printing environments (including: multifunctional printers, IT consultation, photocopiers, printers, large format printers, fax machines, document management hardware & software). Consumer Imaging offers input solutions: film and digital SLR cameras, digital still compact cameras, camcorders, binoculars, calculators and scanners; and output solutions: Inkjet and laser printers, faxes, desktop all-in-ones and multimedia projectors. Broadcast Division is an extension of our product portfolio covering the supply and servicing of professional lenses and their accessories to the Television Broadcasting environment. A commitment to research and development has ensured Canon is at the leading edge of technology, producing many technological firsts and ranking second among the companies receiving US patents. Continuous changes in product development, technology and increasing customer demands place a greater emphasis on our ability to respond effectively to this environment.
Canon’s success has been built on many factors, not the least being the talent, drive and dedication of our employees in pursuing growth in the spirit of ‘Kyosei’ – Canon’s world-wide corporate philosophy of ‘living and working together for the common good’. This concept is also an integral part of our customer satisfaction programme, in which we aim to continuously improve the quality of our products and services.
